I learned this new phrase from an animated TV series called Avatar: The Last Airbender.
It means a condition in which you focus too much on the "where" instead of the "going".
Absolutely love it!
While there have been many similar concepts about Journeys vs Destinations, I felt this phrase captures the essence of the idea in a way I feel very connected to.
Too many times, we worry so much about goal that we forget to enjoy the progress. This is a quick reminder to you to realign your focus. Have an aim, but don’t forget to enjoy the steps towards reaching there.
