As you know, I send daily emails. If you were busy and couldn’t read everything, I share this email every Sunday with quick summaries of what I have shared in the week. Time to catch up.
Feb 22 | Gamicon is on! I just gave my talk! Yay! | I gave my talk at the 48-hour long International Conference on Gamification of L&D. (I’ll share the link to the talk if/when it’s released).
Feb 23 | Gamicon Day 2 and Rakshith’s amazing talk | He shared the story of how we built our Management Simulation Game called Race for Rockets.
Feb 24 | Sleep deprivation is the new smoking | People are sleeping less than needed, and the health effects are devastating. I am myself one of the worst offenders here, so I’m writing this email as much to myself as I am to you.
Feb 25 | [Training Story] The 33 Chilean Miners | It’s a powerful story of working in teams and succeeding against all odds. It’s a story of collaboration both above and below ground.
Feb 26 | Have you done a classroom session recently? | At Gentle Bamboo, we are slowly beginning to get enquiries for classroom training sessions. I just want to hear from what your experience has been. Please share your response by replying to this email.
Feb 27 | The Dunning-Kruger-Confirmation-Bias Effect & Imposter Syndrome. | I present to you a new effect (of sorts) that I’ve come up with which is a combination of two existing cognitive biases. I’m simply calling it The Dunning-Kruger-Confirmation-Bias Effect, and I posit that it leads to Imposter Syndrome.
