“Where can I find out more about you?”

Hi,

Have you ever misplaced a key or a wallet? Of course you have. If you’re anything like me, before you start searching for it, you probably ask someone in your family if they’ve seen it. Just in case.

There are a few kind of responses you may get:

1. No I haven’t seen it

2. Yes, it might be somewhere in living room or the bedroom or the kitchen

3. Yes, it’s in the shelf. Look just behind the vase

Which is more helpful?

You see, #1 and #2 are really the same answer. Not knowing is the same as responding with a vague or large area to search in. That’s not helpful at all. You don’t have time to look everywhere yourself, which is why you asked. In fact I would argue that #2 is worse than #1. The solution is #3, because it is genuinely helpful.

Your presence online is like that too. If someone asked you where they can find out more about you, you can answer in three ways:

1. I’m not online

2. I’m on youtube and twitter and facebook and insta and linkedin and …

3. Visit my website

Which is more helpful?

Once again, #1 and #2 are the same answer. No one has that much time to look everywhere, so they will just give up. Once again, I would argue that #2 is worse than #1.

The solution is #3. You need to make it simple for the person who asked the question. To focus their attention in one very specific place. Sure you can create an ecosystem of social media presence. But, you have to make it all converge on one point: Your Website. It is the only place that you can truly control and make it reflect your personality.

In the upcoming workshop I am doing, called Business Growth Roadmap, I will teach you everything I know about building your online ecosystem. It will be extremely practical, because I am using them myself every day. You will get access to the exact tactics I am using for my own business.

If you’re interested in this workshop, hit reply on this email and let me know. It will be a limited attendance (and massive impact) workshop. I think you’ll like this and get a lot of value out of it.

Focusing your attention,
